This picture heads back to May 1984, when Raith Rovers held an end-of-season open day at Stark's Park to celebrate the club's centenary year.

Unfortunately celebrations were slightly muted as the club had been relegated from the First Division only the day before, however that didn’t stop a healthy crowd of 2000 from turning up.

The day was opened by rangers manager Jock Wallace who recalled watching his dad play in goals for Rovers and a host of fun activity followed.

Our picture shows Sean Love, adjudged to be the most promising player during a youngsters training session, receive a prize of a signed ball from Rovers manager, Bobby Wilson.
