Christmas show for eight Fife care homes

Local performers have brought some festive cheer to care homes in Levenmouth.

Piper Kai Hay, singer Roman O’Donnel and dancers Jessica and Murron Pukta, from Fiona Gallagher Dance School, visited eight care homes in the area, with the help of Buckhaven Community Council.

The group visited the care homes over two days, singing, dancing and piping to bring some smiles to the residents and staff.

Chairwoman Michelle Ratcliffe said: “We thought we would give something back to the elderly residents in the Levenmouth area as this has been a hard year.

“From experience working in a care home, I know how hard it is on a normal daily basis never mind working through Covid.

“They deserved to have a little Christmas cheer. To see their wee faces smiling, singing and dancing was an absolute joy. It warmed all our hearts.

“We hope they have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.”
