Fife Council's education and children's services sub-committee is expected to agree to begin consultation on moving Dunfermline's St Columba's RC and Woodmill high schools.
Both schools have been earmarked for relocation by education chiefs for some time, prior to Woodmill being ravaged by fire in August 2019.

The new schools will be packed with the latest learning technology, all-weather pitches, new gym halls, dance studios and a 400-capacity assembly hall. Fife Council says the new campus will continue hosting local sports clubs and dance groups.
The new site at the Halbeath Interchange sits around 1.5 miles to the east of St Columba's RC High, and almost two miles east of Woodmill. Bosses insist it is the best possible site for the new schools in Dunfermline.
Because consultation cannot be done in-person due to current Covid restrictions, the council's education executive director, Carrie Lindsay, has proposed holding three virtual consultation sessions via the Microsoft Teams platform.
