  • All ticket request came from the Ibrox side
RAITH'S pre-season friendly against Rangers has been made all-ticket.
Passes for Rovers' supporters only go on sale at Stark's Park on Sunday.

The all-ticket request came from the Ibrox side as this will be their last game before the season starts and they expect to bring a huge support to Kirkcaldy after pledging to field a strong team.

Raith chairman, Dave Somerville, said: "It was our original intention to make the game a normal pay at the gate.

''However we have received a request from Rangers to ensure that at least entry for their supporters is by ticket.

''Obviously a mix of tickets and cash entry is not practical, so, on that basis, the match had to be all-ticket.

''I also have no doubt there will be a very large home support given the opportunity to watch Raith Rovers play last season's UEFA Cup finalists.

The box office opens at 10 a.m. on Sunday and will sell tickets until 4 p.m.

Raith fans can buy passes during the week, including the holiday Monday – until 7 p.m. on Wednesday and up to 2 p.m. on the day of the game.

Rovers' season tickets are also valid for the match.
